Falcon Small Aircraft Model

Converted to 3D Mesh from BIM tripod laser scans and 3D printed.

A friend of mine had some extra time with the tripod laser scanner he rented for a project. He decided to set it up in a hangar and scan whatever happened to be laying around. He was in luck as most of an airplane was sitting in the hangar, mostly assembled. Setting the wings up on stools so that the scanner could pick up at least a few points across their surfaces, he was able to capture all of the pieces I needed to build a model of an assembled plane. The model was printed at roughtly 1:20 scale to produce an ~8" long model of the partially assembled small Falcon aircraft.
